I’m a PhD candidate in philosophy at The Graduate Center CUNY. I work in philosophy of mind with a focus on philosophy of perception. I received a B.A. in cognitive science before coming to the Graduate Center, and my work in philosophy has a heavy focus on current experimental psychology and neuroscience. Right now, I’m interested in the sorts of perceptual representations that are not produced by current sensory stimulation, like perceptual expectation and perceptual memory. I want to know how all these various perceptual kinds come together to produce our current perceptual experience.
